National Rehabilitation Centre on the Stanford Hall Rehabilitation Estate and the universities of Loughborough and Nottingham
The Stanford Hall Rehabilitation Estate, outside of Loughborough, hosts the UK’s Centre of Excellence for Rehabilitation and Defence Medicine, the new £300 million Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre, and soon, the National Rehabilitation Centre. The Centre brings together a ‘hub and spoke’ network of more than 20 universities with the universities of Nottingham and Loughborough as lead academic partners. Businesses have access to the whole range of Midlands research and can plug into the wider NHS market through the Centre.
